I took a ride over to the plant; my office is only about 15 minutes away, so i figured, whynot.

It was 8pm at night. In the old plant, things were humming, even at 8pm. Guess this confirms the 3 shifts a day statement. Over 130 cars in the lot. people in a group outside dressed in lab garb, take a smoking break.

also visible from the street was the employee's lounge, another 10 or so inside there.

i noted 2 forty foot containers sitting in the loading dock. One of them had a cab attached, and running, with the driver insider. Seems he was just about to leave with a load.

At the new plant, not much visible activity. However, there was about 100 cars in that lot, again at 8pm. I wonder if these guys are putting in overtime to speed up completion of the plant.

Mike

-- Funny you say that we're more knowledgable than the overall market.

-- On Friday, I got a call from a broker at a house that has been trying to get my business for quite some time.

-- Anyway, I mentioned VVUS to her. She then launched in to a 10 minute dissertation on all the ED drugs. Incredibly knowledgable. She asked if I knew why VVUS was down? I said, "no, not really." She said it was b/c they couldn't deliver their product. Massive production problems.

-- I said, are you sure about that? And she says hold on, looks it up on Bloomberg, and says "no, okay, I thought it was non-delivery, but it looks like they're just having some 4th 1/4 problems. So I still wouldn't touch it."

-- Combine this one broker's statements to the huge amount of skepticism on the confer call, and it's easy to see why VVUS is in the dumps for no good reason.

-- However, I think any news that a 3rd line is up and running in either the old or new plant, and VVUS is a double.

Out.
