Actually less for most people:
Any transactions you make will take your broker up to 3 days to "clear". In other words you will not see your procedes as cash (thus no profits/losses) from a trade in your account until 3 trading days after the trade. Any trade must be executed by Wednsday close or it will clear in the next trading year....leaving 2 1/2 days. But your theory applies in regards to SIII appreciation IMO. SIII has already started it's move to 7+ IMO yesterday. Many people will not be activly trading in the market next week due to other plans (some traders/investors actually have a life <G>).
