Question on news sources I'd like to get as much feedback as possible on news sources (sites) that traders use during market hours. Please give your picks even if someone else has given the same as I am trying to take an inventory by count #1. What are the 3 sites that you use the most during the trading day #2. To get new news on a site I have to hit reload (refresh) each time. Are there any sites that are continuous updating (streaming)?. #3. Most sites have some "delay" factor built in, ie, they extract news from some source and post it to their site. For day trading that delay can be critical. What is the best source (pay, I assume) for real/semi-real time news (url if any please). Thanks for your help. Ps I have posted this to a number of threads to get as much feedback as possible.

Steve, Thanks in advance for helping with this. I am trying to understand how orders get filled. I use DLJ direct to trade via the internet. I curently have an order in for 250 shares of wtlk at 3 7/8. The bid is 3 7/8 and the ask is 4, The last trade is at 3 7/8. My order has not been filled. Could you explain the difference between the ask and the "last traded" at terms. I think I understand that my order won't get filled until the ask goes to 3 7/8, but am confused that if the last trade was at 3 7/8 why has the ask not moved to that?
