I saw Elvin Bishop sit in with a very good Santa Barbara bar band after a concert around 1973. He is a very under rated guitar player IMO…

Saw Cream with Ginger Baker doing Toad. In the middle of a 25 minute solo going about 500 mph he decided to drop his vest. He put down a stick and let one sleeve fall off then did the other arm all without missing a beat. Considering his arms and hands were at blurred speed already it was impressive.

I would have loved to see a jam with Duane and Jimmi. My two favorites hands down. Night Bird Flying is simple otherworldly.

>>The Allman Bros at Fillmore East <<

One whole side of that double album is a jam, and it continues on Eat a Peach, with Mountain Jam.

Dave, it's called Mountain JAM. I'm not sure you know what a jam is. It's a semi-structured piece that allows imporvisation. It's never the same twice.
