Computers did make the difference but no one uses tech better than Walmart when it comes to retail.

I used to work for the company that put their system together. We had a department dedicated to Walmart. To this day, many Walmart employees call their handheld scanners "Telxons", although the company hasn't existed for 15 years...

Symbol bought them out to get their customer base and IP, firing all of the employees and shutting down the company. What they didn't factor in was that most of Telxon's customer base were ex-Symbol customers who couldn't stand Symbol.

I am buying a lot of stuff on AMZN because of Prime which gets things here quickly at no additional cost, as well as their program which contributes 0.5% to your selected charity.
Walmart is trying compete with Amazon but has a long way to go.......I use an Amazon.com card which gets me points for everything I buy........you'd be amazed at the crap I've gotten free.....
