Gene...the 12/22 edition of IBD features a graph pie charts, and some stats on the Global PC market. A "market breakdown" done by International Data Corp. shows that in the U.S. CPQ has 18.8%, DELL 9.7%, Packard-Bell 8.1%, IBM 7.9%, and HWP 7.5% of the market in the U.S. A breakdown worldwide is as follows, CPQ 14.1%, IBM 8.4%, DELL 6.2%, HWP 6.0%, and Packard-Bell 5.0%. The survey says that PC shipments are projected to approach 127 million units in the year 2000, 1 58% increase from the 80 million this year. Stephen
