John,

"It appears that the judges law clerk is the latest in progamming talent."

Maybe he's only working as a law-clerk because the opportunities do not exist for his talents in the software industry anymore.

"The US defeated communism just so it could reinvent its own version. Part of the made in America campaign!"

The US defeated communism through intense GOVERNMENT SPENDING at a time when the public cried "creeping socialism" more loudly than they do today. The only period where communism had any support in the U.S. was after the laissez-faire Randians had wrecked the general economy and could not get it moving again. This is what happens when monopolies reach the point where it no longer responds to the market demands but instead 'dictates' what the market will be.

Notice how Bill has given up the "We will pull out of the software industry all together!" extortion plea. If he pulls out for even a short time he may lose that monopoly and never get it back. We've lived with Windows95 for 2 years we could live with it until developer's ported their apps to other/better OS's.

Cheers,

Norm
