I'm happy for you jim, but do not get blinded by a booked profit only to have to show a loss at the end of the month on your account statement! When I receive my monthly statements or get my account balance off of my Street Smart account web site I look to see what my account is worth at that minute! I can assure you that that is what it is worth, no if's, and's or but's! So when you say you booked a profit on puts that you bought for insurance on DELL going down, you need to consider where DELL was when you bought the puts as to where DELL is now! jim, so many people only want to believe what they want to believe and do not look at the whole picture, and that is the fastest way to lose money in the stock market! All I'm saying is, it is best to face realilty when investing and trading!
