Quinn's ancestry is Irish-Mexican. Many think he is of Greek descent.

The reason I like "Requiem.." is because I remember it was a 'cult' movie of the time and Quinn was brilliant. He should have been awarded the oscar. But they messed over a lot of people, Chaplin, for a long time Newman, and on and on. But I think Quinn is a fantastic actor.

As far as what women like or do not, Chico Marx was a legendary ladies man, so go figure.

EDIT For Nemer's benefit, I remember there was a terrific scene where Jackie Gleason looks as if he's going to tear Mickey Rooney's lungs out during a game of gin.
