Eugene Peroni speaks!!!

This from MSNBC off the Microsoft Investor site (free site)

As for technical analysis, Peroni said the Dow's breach of 7,800 is a concern, but not "catastrophic." As for the tech-rich Nasdaq, the technician said its turnaround Friday reflects the "oversold" state of many big tech stocks. Peroni listed Motorola (MOT), Iomega (IOM), Compaq Computer (CPQ) and Micron Technology (MU) as examples of industry leads overdue for a bounce, but he is not a proponent of making big bets on the tech sector.

>>Gee, Rocky, I thought you bought some stock yesterday. It wouldn't be too prudent to bash your own investment, would it? Then again, with your past record, I guess this is par for the course.<<

I don't have a big enough ego to think that my words have any direct influence on the stock price. However, isn't it weird how gifted writers from Barrons and nationally-revered tech columnists share the same concerns as I regarding IOM's future? Maybe the myopic views of the Iomaniacs here are little too optimistic, and their primary investment will turn out to languish once again in a strict trading range.

This is exactly what I am counting on--that the current trading range of about $22 to $33 will hold. My price target is $32, then I'm out, and looking at IOM as a possible short candidate.
