Venkie...I'm certain that Hank will do well with his short positions, as we will do well in our long positions. I know enough to know that I neither have the courage nor the timing to short a stock. That's why I try to pick big cap, growth-oriented companies and operate with a time horizon of 2-5 years or longer...... it's much safer. I must say, I admire Hank for his moxie! Good Luck, Stephen

Venkie,

You can be funny at times, but I've made much more than min. wage with DELL! With an avg. short of $90 and change and having more shares short this time around as I did last time (which was 7000 shares) I believe that amounts to more than min. wage! Then all the calls that I have sold since Aug. and have expired worthless I can assure you that would add up to almost as much as I got made in my short position now!

The only thing I'm nervous about is the whole market going down! And I'm very comfortable with all my shorts and I will use any bounce in DELL to sell more naked calls on it! Looking forward to the up coming week for the holidays will be a very pleasent one for me, for I have a portfolio of longs and shorts I will not have to worry about!

Sure people have made a lot of money in DELL, but one needs to keep in mind what they have done with their other holdings this past year and add all the losses and all the money spent on puts and calls and see how one really came out! When everything is offset with all the losses and all the gains rather it be on paper or a real lose or gain is how one should figure what he or she did this past year!

Still short and glad of it Venkie!

Hank
