(Note: You pay 3.47x more for Oil than NG in equivalent Energy unit!. This is close to highest I have seen)

Actually the energy equivalent ratio between crude vs NG has been coming down since 2012. When NG dipped below two bucks in 2012 while crude was above $100, the price difference peaked above 60, which, when you divide by the 5.55, gave a energy equivalent ratio around 10 - 11.

That was really ridiculous.
