These scan clinics are supposed to make money and they don't unless they are in a hospital. Giving you a heart scan for $199 is a loss leader and a good deal for you. They try to set you up for more scans on a regular basis to come out.

I am a big believer in scans. That's how I found my heart disease and my kidney cancer. The younger you are, the less you want of them from a radiation POV, but the scary scan articles are a way of selling scan articles. So you pay your money and you take your choice. A lot of things can be checked with Ultrasound and MRI.
