Thanks for the explanation on the CTA scan! We're both now signed up for a total cost of $50 for regular CT scans. My 1998 scan had a score of 139 and my wife's was ZERO. I went on a statin in 1999 and have never had any symptoms (recently did a 20.5 mile mountain hike in one day). However her cholesterol has been high and she couldn't tolerate statins or red yeast rice (until she recently discovered Cholestene). It will be interesting to see what our scores are after 17 years!
