Yousef, Re -- Wasn't there some statement in the summer about AMD shipping a significant amount of their products in .25um process by the end of '97?? Yup, they had planned on shipping the 266 in volume by the end of this year. The AMDites who think they know it all, were hyping about how AMD would be far ahead in converting its whole fab to .25u by the end of this year, while Intel would only be partially completed. The hallmark of morons, like the AMDites, is that they fail to see how many times they have been wrong in the past. Fools never will learn. Stockman

Wasn't there some statement in the summer about AMD shipping a significant amount of their products in .25um process by the end of '97?? Yeah, they also promised 300 parts by the end of the year <g>. I can't wait until 1Q CC when Jerry boosts the stock price with talk about K6 notebooks and the K6-3D chip. I decided to wait until then to dump my AMD stock. By far, my worst trade ever. With Andy Grove receiving Time's Man of the Year, Sanders should receive Sleaze of the Year. He's made so many false promises and with Insiders dumping their stock, I think this provides significant evidence for a Shareholder's lawsuit. I'm suprised it hasn't happened yet. joey
