Mike: Keep me apprised as to how well you and David do with the boys from Rev-Can if it ever ends up in tax court. I'd come and watch the proceedings. (g) As an aside, anyone buying/trading stocks in Canada should make themselves well aware of and read "Interpretation bulletin 694" (it really exists and it will scare the dickens out of you). Effectively, Rev-Can has the power to "deem" anyone who even looks at a stock as a "pro trader", which converts one's capital gains into straight earnings, with attendant increased tax rates, interest, penalties, etc.. Somehow don't think that David's renowned litigation skills nor the "forever bear" argument would help (g). The tax guys hate anybody who makes money in the market. Best, Earlie
