Hi Goldsnow,

Thanks. What you are seeing is there is the same everywhere where you
do not have democracy or where the government has gotten to deep into
the corprate world. Government has always been a bad CEO/CFO. What is
worse, when the government like in Indo is corrupt from the top to the
bottom, right to the local policeman you will have these kinds of problems.

The rich and powerful have always exploited the poor and the poor have let
them. The poor are as much the blame as the rich. In contries where relegion
dominates the sociaty the poor will always be exploited. Corporations
will come in from outside the country and use this poverty for their benefit.
Corrupt government will agree to the terms of the corporations so they can
fill their Swiss bank accounts. Dictators could care less about their
populations. Follow the money. Money has always corrupted the powerful.
The Clinton administration and the DNC are prime examples that are close
to home. Now I'm not saying the RNC is much better but what I am saying is
that anytime the/an administration is corrupt you will see eventually this
happen. I can bet you that the bail out that we gave to Indo., a nice
portion of it went into Swiss bank accounts of the President and his family
members. The same will happen in S.Korea, Thailand, and any other country
that gets a bail out package. You have to remember what got them into this
mess in the first place. CORRUPTION!!!!!!!

If we don't want to see the samething happen in the states we are going to
have to be very diligent. This is why the constitution was set up the way it
was. Never let an administration control the purse strings. In Indo and these
other countries the Administration controls the purse strings and the CBs.

Greenspan has every right to be concerned what happens over there. There are
alot of major banks here in the states that have fronted monies over in those
parts of the world. If these companies don't pay, these banks are in trouble.
And I mean big banks. Citicorp is one that comes to mind. There's alot
of money being printed out there to cover all these loans. Alot of gold transfers
to back it up. Without gold to back it up, what is the paper worth. Nothing. It has
no intrinsic value. What do you connect it with? Rice, corn, wheat, oil? WHAT??????
You have a drought you have none of the above. Run out of oil??????? "0".

You have to remember. Most of the gold that is being found is in 3rd
world countries. You think that Germany, France, England, Europe in general
is going to let themselve become prisoner to a third would country? Of course
not. So what are they to do? Devalue gold. But it won't work. Gold is still the
meadium of exchange and always will be.

The bottom line is that Indo is and will always be a good play. Even the poor
understand the value of gold. They will just demand a bigger piece of the action.;-)

C. cheers,

Ron
