We used to have a large lake front house with a complete 2 bedroom apt down and 2 guest bedrooms with bath up.

Our situation is a bit different now. We are in the country with 4 bedrooms, one for sleeping, one for guests, and 2 for our private offices.
My son and younger daughter now own side by side cottages on a lake about 90 minutes from here.

My other daughter and my married grandson all still like to come here and stay over, as does my other daughter with the beach house and lake house. The bedroom, and covered screened porch with a few cots does nicely until 4 am when I get up and start the coffee pot. LOL

Hmmmm. Sounds like a very carefully laid out plan to me. ;)

It's sort of like my sister who bought a place right on the beach in Manhattan Beach because, she says, she wanted to watch the sunsets over the water. Had nothing to do with enticing her kids and grandkids to visit her. Yep. I believe her. Yep.

This was our family's volleyball tournament this weekend.
