Bdog, there are many utils including some Metastock's downloader and the data-utility from wall st software but IMO messing with a ASCII data such as quote.com is a waste of time. If you follow a lot of issues look at Quotes Plus or if you only follow a few TC2000 might be a good choice. Both are inexpensive then you can concentrate on making money instead of converting data. I went this route when I started and its a major pain even knowing PERL well..... Sean
