Taur553-- I know a lot of reporters, my sister being one, and most are lazy and do the least amount of verification. Most of this is due to apathy from the reporters because their editors demand the stories they want covered have the slant they want. And that slant comes from who owns the publication in queston, thru who manages it. So, we, the readers end up getting fed pablum. I can't begin to count the number of stories I have read that were totally wrong, and I knew this because I had known the real events first hand.
