Message 30148502 see priceofoil.org report done in 2014 "Each year, the U.S. federal and state governments give away more than $21 billion in subsidies to oil, gas, and coal companies to promote increased fossil fuel production and exploration" As for apples and oranges, the reality is that IF we had concentrated on alternative energy, rather than subsidizing oil, gas, coal, nuclear, etc. the world we live in could very well be quite different than the one we find ourselves in. I see no way out of the ME, aka the future birthplace of WW3. Do you?
