MS now says oil will stay below $70 through 2016. I think the futures were already discounting the Iran deal and gradual or immediate lifting of sanctions. This will stress lots of companies which don't have much of their 2016 production hedged. May be ideal for option writers - an oil market that goes nowhere with enough implied volatility to offer some nice option premiums, especially for naked straddle writers.

John,

Not to mention the fact that Israel will be forced to confront Iran's nuclear ambitions, with a likely airstrike. This ought to shake things up a bit. It wouldn't surprise me to see this happen very soon.

Regards,

Paul
