I think you may be on to something, Thomas. Something sinister. But we Covenesses don't talk about our private rituals. Now. Tomorrow afternoon, God help me, I am going to Nice for a week. Tihs will be pretty horrible. Nothing much to do, rotten weather. (Yeah it'll be warmer, but rain is rain.) I shall suffer unbearable Web-withdrawal. Back next Saturday, late. So be good, all, and have a Merry Christmas. Let's all overeat, so we can complain about dieting for the first three months of the New Year. Tihs, after all, is waht middle age is all about. J

Not to mention the astonishingly youthful appearance of penni this fall. SHe's been carded at the grocery store several times while buying wine and has even been invited to the prom at a local high school. She gleefully refers to her husband as "that older man with grown children I married" and was given detention by the principal for wearing her skirt above the required length when she went for a parent-teacher conference. Yes-it does make one wonder about those missing teenies...but there are so many of them-they're rather like fleas- and so few of the Coven....such an obvious choice.
