I tend to agree with your assessment. NFLX has had this "problem" for years. If it were doing any real damage to their bottom line, they would have already addressed it.

Didn't Netflix address this by offering multiple screens at a time, for more money? From 1 screen to 2 screens to 4 at a time.

It's 7.99 for 1 and 11.99 for 2, etc. Prices before local taxes.

Password-sharing is controlled by knowing the login device information, and how many are on at one time.

If someone wants to save 3.99 by using someone else's account with an extra screen, it's not going to have individual recommendations and history, items to Watch Again, and to Resume Watching.
