So, what's the verdict?

Is a graphite purification process relatively benign if

1. acid is used but the acid is not hydrofluoric?

2. sulfuric acid is used but the acid doesn't come into contact with the graphite?

3. dilute hydrochloric acid is used in a rinse cycle following the caustic leach?

4. the operations are expected to consume approximately 400 tonnes per month of sulfuric acid?
