Hadn't heard that Bemer was recommending Gorby to be the international y2k Czar. However, I know Tony Keyes was extremely disappointed that Gorbachev bowed out of speaking at the conference in LA in November. It is really quite sad to say, but I think the bull market is over and we now face, not just an economic threat, but a national security threat. Information Warfare is beginning to come into its own and the y2k issue provides the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the developed world's dependence on its flawed information systems.
