When forced to swear allegiance to the #blacklivesmatter movement, O’Malley’s unfortunate words were: “Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter.” Before we get to O’Malley’s cowardly apology, let’s let Nancy Pelosi’s daughter explain why it’s horribly racist to say, “all lives matter.” Christine Pelosi tweeted this out minutes after O’Malley’s “offensive words: My fellow White Progressives, please understand “all lives matter” is received as erasure not inclusion to #BlackLivesMatter. When asked if he understood that black lives matter more than white lives or all lives, he responded like this: “I certainly do and in fact I believe what I first said was ‘black lives matter’ before those other two phrases. And when I said those other two phrases I meant no disrespect to the point which I understand and that black lives matter is making,” said O’Malley. Or to communicate in any way that I did not understand the tremendous passion, commitment, and feeling and depth of feeling that all of us should be attaching to this issue,” he finished. Wow, that was some serious groveling. Too bad it was all for nothing. Blacks will never forgive him for saying, “all lives matter.” O’Malley’s craven apology comes on the heels of Hillary Clinton having to beg for forgiveness for saying “all lives matter” in a black church last month. This is beyond ridiculous and here are a few points we can take away from this: It is now the official Democratic Party platform that black lives are more important than the lives of people from other races.
