For a long time, violence was synonymous with Christianity despite the fact that Jesus was alleged to be peace loving. You've been miseducated. Christianity worked to suppress violence of all types. For example, Christians did away with the Roman games in which men and animals fought to the death for entertainment and with infanticide and it tried to restrain the wars of Christian monarchs (with limited success of course). *You have posted death wishes for people like me though.* When? Religion was kept out of gov't because religion and religious types are divisive and tend to be biased ideologues. That's a lie. If your assertion was true, they wouldn't have held church services in Congress in the early years, and Presidents wouldn't have issued proclomations of national days of prayer. *Tens of thousands of Muslims flee Christian militias in Central African Republic* Yes, Christians have fought back against jihad there ... but you know very well that Islamic violence is common along the southern Sahara ... look at the history of Nigeria and Sudan among other countries there.
