The weeds over at the pea patch are doing well, but most of them here in our yard are dying from the heat. I was born and raised here and I don't remember it being this hot for so long. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I wish it would rain. I don't care for asparagus, so I think I'll not mention spreen to the neighbors or my hubby. If I did they might want to plant it and it would take up space that could be used for something I like. gg The rolly polly is a zuccini, so I guess you can call it a squash. I like to slice it into 1/2" rounds, brush it with olive oil, sprinkle with french or italian herbs, broil until it starts to brown, take it out of the oven and sprinkle with a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, broil again just until the cheese melts. Yummy!
