Samsung Places First Order With FSI International for Polaris Cluster MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1997-- FSI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSII) has further penetrated the Asian semiconductor equipment market, receiving its first order from Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. in Korea for a POLARIS(R) 2100 Microlithography Cluster. This represents the second Korean customer to purchase POLARIS Clusters. The POLARIS 2100 Cluster will be used by Samsung in its R&D facility to develop future memory products.
