I think that is a critically important lesson.

It is my biggest mistake. Several times my largest position, a stock I had confidence in, doubled or tripled and I sold it. Some of them went on to 10x, 20x or more. (ANAC was never a big position for me - but I did own it and sell too soon.)

After realizing my error, I held GENT (my #1) from 5 to buyout in the upper 50's.

The difference is stunning.
