It is because of your perception. Had your read and considered the entire treatment from a different LOC (Locus of control), you would have found it easy to understand. Guns are bad, religion is bad, a nationality is bad, the other politic is bad, the wrong skin is bad (used to be black now it's white), same with gender is all true when viewed from an external locus of control. Being happy via being pleasured is having fun and fulfilling when considered from an external locus of control. Being well and happy when considered from an internal locus of control allows one to see the decent principle at the core of human endeavor in all those above mentioned examples, as well as the dangers and corruption that can be wrought ... but holds the individual responsible for the manifestation of either. Being well and happy, is being healthy and whole mentally, physically, and spiritually when considered from an internal locus of control... accomplished by those who rise above the natural inclinations of a dog eat dog existence. People with guns kill, rob, murder... people with guns protect, liberate, and keep the peace. Both are true Joe, it is not a forced choice except for those who only view the matter from an E-LOC. I can't help you with that.
