>> I don't know if Obama ever said he was born in Kenya...Did he?

He promoted himself for more than 15 years as "Kenyan born" between 1991 and 2007. The claim was that his book publisher wrote the bio, but that doesn't explain why it just "happened" to change a month before he announced his run for the presidency.

Although I can't locate it at this instant, there is also, I'm almost certain, an incident where he was publicly introduced as a speaker having been "Kenyan born."

I'm not suggesting he was Kenyan born, only that he lied when he thought it was to his advantage to be "Kenyan Born". Where he was born we'll never really know with certainty -- it is difficult to confront a man's own claims that he was born in Kenya by saying, "No, you weren't." We just don't know what the truth happens to be.
