On the weakness in the drillers--also consider the impact that the weakness in Asia may be having on the secular bull trend. Remember that one of the lynch pins of the secular bull thesis was the tremendous growth that was anticipated in Asia and the corresponding impact on the need for oil. The problems in Asia may have derailed this assumption -- at least for the time being.

Thank-you for your thoughts and patience. Was very tough for me to admit/realize that stocks with great fundamentals need to be abondoned - this has been a difficult and expensive lesson for me.

Besides 200 day MAV, what other indicators/data do you use to assess whether a stock is normally correcting versus breaking down?
