Nonsense....as anyone of reasonable intelligence who has researched the matter knows...the right for the people to bear arms is exactly what the Founding Fathers intended. In the parlance of the time the "militia was everyone.

PS What does your incorrect view vis a vis the 2nd Amendment have to do with your error regarding Brit support of the Confederacy?
