tek, actually for the 28 year-old to have experienced the 87 crash will be quite an experience. Unfortunately, most of the fund-dumbs didn't even have that much exposure to a bear. The biggest bear they ever faced was the 94 stealth bear, followed by about 6 weeks long bear in March-April 97 - a 10% drop in 6 weeks. The second biggest bear they ave experienced was a 13% drop in late October. See, they do have some experience. -g-
