Ok. Then it is the result of the conditions that formed the el nino. They were expecting an el nino last year because the conditions were right.

Then this el niño is compounded by that blob of warmer weather. It may be why its more intense this year...........again the accelerant effect.

Which is bad for the PNW. The conditions may be with us for a few more years.

They are already predicting it will be here until Sept 2016.

What do you mean by that last part? I would prefer it didn't get any warmer than it already is.

Odds are high that it will be getting warmer at a faster rate.

I hope not.
