I'm thinking the presidency has now become more powerful than the other two branches combined, as is evidenced by the fact that Congress is helpless to stop Obama from breaking the law. Not just small acts, but egregious, serial illegal acts. And Congress essentially is powerless to do anything about it. Obama has, time and again, told Congress to f*ck off. What is to keep a President Trump from doing the same? And more? I say Trump because he has the money to back it up. But it could happen with a Democrat, as well. Our country is weak in that the presidency is no longer co-equal. It is far more powerful, and Congress is powerless to do anything about it.
