What we've done today is to create a culture of unemployment that cannot hope to be absorbed by a system that isn't producing jobs due to government strangling economic growth.

Are you serious? Did you actually attend a university? If so, I find it hard to believe:

* Great economic news: "The number of people who applied for U.S. unemployment benefits slid to the lowest level since 1973 in the seven days ended July 18, another sign of strong labor-market conditions."

Where growth is at its weakest in this country..........is in the deep southern states: LA, AR, MS, and AL........TN would be there too but thanks to the liberal cities of Nashville and Chattanooga:

bls.gov

And the blame for that crummy growth rests right at the feet of your shitty pols. I can't believe Cotton is a senator and Hucklebee was governor.

But go ahead Dave........live in your ideological fantasy world.

The system is producing jobs, but not very many for the uneducated and unskilled....... btw, our unemployment rate here is 4.7%.........retail places can't find enough new hires, and a big distribution center owned by the Gap has help wanted signs hanging all over the county..and they pay well with benefits..

When I was a kid everyone had Summer jobs picking where I lived. Some cotton, others tomatoes, other crops. No one worried about minimum wages or withholding taxes, any of it. White kids, black kids, it didn't matter, no one cared. It was pocket money.
It's about time you crawled into the 21st century.....
