Janice, The first and only time I was in Nice was in '82. Five things stand out in my mind from way back then: 1) Food is ten times more expensive near the hotels 2) The beaches have rocks, not sand (except at the hotels where it is trucked in) 3) Women on the beach sunbathe topless 4) Young and attractive women are 100 times more likely than others to be solicited by soft drink vendors as they lay on the beach 5) I never had so much fun pretending to be a soft drink vendor - Jeff
