"Life is too short" is always a valid point. Since the first of the year, I notice that I've averaged a post on SI every three days and a post on this board every eleven days so I don't obsess over Dmitry's action; however, there are times, after I'm reminded of some of his inept "enhancements", when I like to reiterate that they only exist because his ego is too fragile to admit he has made a mistake. For instance, I've been using a Chromebook for about a month now and it's virtually impossible to move the pointer across the drop down menu fast enough to keep it from opening; and viewing the time/date stamp is a constant reminder of its uselessness. Of course, the blatant censorship of discussion was the ultimate display of unprofessional conduct. I don't paint the SI Admins with the same brush. I've had a few disagreements with Ron in the past, and I respect him because of the way he dealt with them. He actually lifted a suspension once after I presented my case to him. I don't see that action as something Dmitry would have even contemplated. So, I don't think about Dmitry often; but I do enjoy the occasional "stick" to the ribs just to show the contempt I have for what he has done to a once great web site. It didn't have to happen.
