* TO THE THREAD ** -- The FOOL (Randy Befumo) has done a hatchet job on Ascend, apparently because he is ignorant of the fact that the RAS problems and the Cascade side of the family has gotten its house in order and is making an even greater contribution to the company. Ref. exchange2000.com The Bay thread have already taken him to task, and gotten him to partially retract some of his negative statements. I am sure that either Style or Maverick could do a good job of setting the record straight. Particularly damaging is his statement -- "Number five Ascend is even more of a wild card, with sales already down by more than 12% last quarter and potentially slipping even more as pricing in remote access is destroyed by Cisco." I hope that someone will respond !!! MM
