"Citing the labor participation rate is typical winger BS. I am embarrassed for you."

Predictable comment for you. First, you said, "It doesn't matter, it is all old people."

What I showed you is that the boomers are retiring. Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

Then, I proved that stupid comment wrong.

You did? The unemployment rate is at its lowest in 15 years. What did you frigging think you proved?

And where are all those people who want to work but are too discouraged to apply? Where are they Dave? Tell me. Unemployment rate here in Seattle is at 3.9%. Businesses are putting out signs in their windows looking for workers. Where are all those people who are not working and want a job? Why do they continue to hide from us? Is this a game they are playing with us?

Now, you said, "Oh, it is just typical winger BS."

But you discount this extremely important figure for only one reason: It does not support your narrative that the economy is doing well. Everyone here knows that. You're not fooling anyone with these comments.

No, I discount it because its what wingers do to discredit Obama. Jump on a fallacy and repeat it frequently until people believe it.

You all are seriously demented people. And no, Obama is not from Iran.

Seattle has seen a decline in its labor participation rate even as its unemployment rate has been dropping to 3.9%, making a joke of the argument that the LPR is too low for this economic recovery:

seattlebubble.com

In fact, for Seattle, the lowest LPR was in 2005 when Bush was president. And since 2010, its been moving back to that rate even as the unemployment rate has dropped from 9%+ to 3.9%. Why? Boomers are retiring en masse.

I am not sure how well you understand labor economics but employers in Seattle wish there was a shadow labor force wanting work as you wingers claim. They are desperate for workers.

Bottom line: you don't have an argument.
