Greetings Jane, << We disagree with your denouncing any association with Israel today by the God of Abraham.... >> Here again Jane is a prime example where you presume in your mind, certainly not by my written responses that I have said that " the God of Abraham denounces the present day state of Israel. " In the context of what I have stated many, many times, that being , that Almighty God shows no partiality to any particular nation from the cross onward and that all nations must come to God only through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine I would ever say that God denounces the present state of Israel as a people, for many of my brothers and sisters in Christ are of Jewish origin. How-ever I truly believe that God denounces any form of religion, from any nation, or peoples, other than what He has done through His Eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and that includes ortho-dox Judaism and Talmudic Judaism. Jane , you say you agree with who the bible says is the true " Israel of God ", yet by this post that statement betrays you. My point is this, failure to understand who God is addressing as His " Israel of God " causes much false teaching and confusion to flourish with-in the Body of Christ, and this error compounds itself as the rest of the Books of the Word of God are read and studied. Being a well read sister that you are,I think we can agree on this point as can be seen by the various books on the " popular market " with many different views on such topics as the Second Coming, the Tribulation, the Rapture , etc. May Our Gracious Father grant unto His children with seeking hearts the revelation of His Son , that the early Church saw and turnrd the world upside down. To God be the glory now and for-evermore. Robert
