I bought shares in the following companies on today's market drop:

American Airlines (AAL). low p/e

Alibaba (BABA). Similar to early Amazon: growth phase

Ampco-Pittsburgh (AP). Favorable value metrics

Micron (MU). low p/e.

Precision Castparts (PCP). Unique supplier (forged products) to aircraft industry. Bet on continuation of aircraft sales. Buffett holding.

Tech Data (TECD). Low p/stated bv. Very low p/sales. Profit margins very thin - as is seen with many distributor companies.

The Andersons (ANDE). reenter for small buy. Family owned corp. with diverse interests in the farming sector. A lot of its businesses are in an unfavorable environment -- ethanol production/storage, railroads. Over a business cycle though, I expect the company to continue to grow and do okay. So I see the stock eventually recovering. At current price, fits my criteria for a value stock.
