Thanks FUBHO, The build for my son's computer has turned into a semi-nightmare trying to make it do all things. He likes Linux and although not a big gamer has some interest there.

Currently the system is morphing into a triple-boot Win7/Win8.1/Win10 with VMware Workstation and I have a lot of unresolved software issues doing this.

As crazy as a triple-boot sounds, for gaming there is some logic to the madness, since PC game-series span multiple versions of windows and running them in a native environment is preferable.

I'm trying to encourage him to use VMware for his Linux, but still unresolved are software licensing issues running triple-boot and installing single license programs on all the Operating Systems, but on the same computer.

Then there's the issue how I configure the drives.

Another virtual machine question, is it necessary to install motherboard and graphic card drivers on a VM?
