"The woman is quite literally butchering and dismembering living children and then selling their meat to other monsters to do experiments"

Your inflammatory misrepresentations and emotional melodrama mark you as somewhat disturbed. Women have abortions in health care facilities under the guidance of compassionate, caring professionals. Calling clinics "meat markets" is stupid and childish. Having said that, I think a strong case can be made for banning the donation of fetal tissue for research....or at least making the process more transparent. The goal of all abortions should be to terminate unwanted pregnancies as early as possible--if that is the choice being pursued. And there is an undeniable 'disgust factor' involved in the donation of organs which simply adds fuel to the malicious attacks and misrepresentations of Fundamentalist Crazies. On the other hand, one can certainly understand how a woman forced to terminate an unwanted pregnancy could find some comfort in knowing that some good was coming from a painful decision? So there is room for debate, it seems to me.

But this debate is completely separate and apart from the foolish and self-serving attacks against women's reproductive choice, health, and safety. ABORTION IS A RIGHT. No sensible person can dispute that right. Those who attack women's rights to reproductive choice are fundamentalist crazies. All sensible people understand that women cannot be (and ought not to be) stripped of their rights and turned into slaves and unwilling breeders.

"The Center for Reason: Responding to a claim by some conservative Christian leaders that abortion is an evil perpetrated by non-Christians, the Center -- a private research group -- decided to conduct a study to determine whether Christians have a fewer abortions per capita than do non-Christians. They determined that Christians have as many abortions per capita than do non-Christians. They analyzed state-by-state data -- perhaps from the CDC -- and found that the rate of abortion is the same in the most Christian segments of the population as it is in the least-Christian. However, the most highly Catholic segments of the nation showed significantly higher abortion rates." 3,4
