History has shown the Iranians have no reason to trust us...we screwed then for decades going back to the SHAH OF TERROR Yes, that was my point. There is distrust on both sides of the equation...........and for good reason. Sadly, Rs only can see their POV and are completely incapable of empathy. Its why they never get anything constructive done and why they rely so much on war as the major tool to get things done. And they can't wage war well so nothing gets done.......but lots of money gets spent and their donors prosper.
