It is with great sadness that I am posting to my Dad's Facebook page to say that he passed away last Sunday July 19th. Jim Bishop was doing what he loved fishing in Nootka Sound- he had a Salmon in the cooler and one in the net. Respecting Jim's wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to Nootka Sound Watershed Society, Box 293, Gold River, BC V0P 1G0. He has left a void in many lives and he definitely was one of the good guys. facebook.com
