The Windows boot manager has changed radically with 8.0 and is the same for 8.1.

Now for a multi-boot system, Windows does not change the currently booted OS to drive C: and the drive letters remain the same regardless of what partition is booted.

There is an issue though. I've been making images at each stage during the installation process for the drive with multiple boot partitions on a different computer running Win7-64 Ultimate.

What happens is that if the last boot for the multiboot drive is into any partition other than C:, the Win7 computer I'm making images with, thinks my multiboot drive is corrupt and wants to start Disk Check to scan for errors.

This isn't a major issue, but booting into E: and F: will take some getting used to.
